Alex Carneiro


He started his professional career as a teacher which he did for about 10 years. Simultaneously, he also became a salesperson of equipment and services for the oil & gas industry. Subsequently, he developed a successful marketing and sales career in Shell for 23 years, his career reached up to commercial vice-president for Latin America. In 2006 he founded ValorArt, a boutique consultancy firm with 3 more partners.

After finishing his production engineering degree he completed a full time MBA. More recently he attended executive education programs at Insead on Leadership, at the Wharton School, at the Chicago Booth, at the Professional Pricing Society on Pricing management, at the IMD, at the Escola de Marketing Industrial on Business Marketing, and at the IBGC and at Fundação Dom Cabral on Corporate Governance.

During his free time he enjoys playing volleyball, going to movies and theater, matching wine to good food and playing with his kids.
